The team at Aloha Construction was thrilled to learn that they had become the recipients of the BBB’s Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. In order to win this award, they had to meet a number of criteria, among them that they had shown exceptional ethical practices for the past year. Each company that is nominated for this award must go through a very thorough screening process which is performed by an independent panel of judges.
The Better Business Bureau first handed out this award in 1996 and have continued the practice every year since. They wanted to encourage businesses to be very ethical, socially responsible, and engage in their industry’s best business practices. They have a high standard on which companies they will give one of their Torch awards to each year. It is an award that is given to local businesses and it is highly respected in the business community.
